Fresh was great for Red. Still confused as to why you shut it down. I've heard you state the reason a couple times, but it still doesn't make sense. what's hard to understand about that

Hard to understand why he would disband the guild if he says they were split. That's what he has said. So if he was left with half the people he still would have had a decent sized guild. If the alliance doesn't work, he would still have been up and running in some fashion for people to drag their corpses back to him, whether or not he wanted them is a different story. He and Karsten built the guild from scratch once, no reason they couldn't recover from a split. Population is growing and people would still have joined Fresh regularly. That's what I find hard to understand. If he wanted a guild he could still have one. I really liked Fresh, and the Max that ran Fresh was good for the server.

we were 60 deep at raids before Fresh even got 15 solid members. you guys have a terribly misguided perception of our guild, or are just awful trolls.

we took the server from azrael. they basically just gave it to us on a silver platter and let us recruit from blue non stop while crying about it every step of the way

should go read that red thread on the blue server chat. trust me, we were on that shit far before fresh even entered the room.

This is an excellent point!
If Fresh wasn't disbanded, chances are that a lot of people would choose to stay in it, despite the merger.

We faced a situation where all of the friends we had made where going to join a guild that was going to kill us. There was no way for fresh to continue to work with the alliance guild after it sniped members and officers from the guild. Those of us who didn't want to merge where going to be left in a position where the alliance guild and empire where both extremely hostile towards us. I wasn't going to be doing anyone any favors continuing on with the guild after the massive amount of desertion it was facing. I didn't want to see <Fresh> in a position where it had to defend itself from the people who I felt had become core members of the guild, on both sides.
