Not even remotely viable to add this.

We defeat level 70 mobs currently with far more hps, and more single target damage, that have aoe's.

Entirely doable, and if they want to make the content group friendly they could modify both the states of the mob and of the drops or create entirely new ones. Maybe make fabled a regular but very rare spawn and not locked to a certain time frame.

Lol if you bothered to look at the first round of fabled mobs they ever did every single one of them cuold probably be duo'd on this server. As Eratani said it wasnt overpowered gear or overpowered mobs just was like having a level 55 mob in lower guk.

I was looking at the links provided in this thread. It was coming off level 70 mobs. Only AoW and Tunare is 70 on this server.

So I did a little digging, and took a look at the sub 66 mobs, because 66 mobs are NTOV mobs. Level 40+ mobs start dropping raid quality loot, aka random good stuff that drops all the time and would be no shame in using ever.. With the 50+ mobs that ends up being NTOV quality loot. 60+ mobs better than NTOV loot.

None of those items make sense given the loot progression on this server and where it ends. It was okay when they were originally introduced given what loot/levels/AA's was on live at the time.

I was around during the first Fabled event in 2004. It occurred during the LDoN era.

My live character has the Fabled Ishva Robe and the Fabled J-Boots. Those boots originally had SoW AND I could cast it on others! [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] A few days later they nerfed them to self only and a new effect called 'Bootstrutter's Blessing'.

For a short, short time I could give others clicky SoW as a Necromancer.

If we are doing custom content, Fabled is a great starting point. I'm having trouble following you-- I don't see why you included this statement?
