It’s not clear if the agency, which is responsible for cracking down on the illegal use and trafficking of firearms, did this because the individual was involved in the Fast and Furious gun-running scheme.

I always do before I post, and am actually able to determinate the difference between facts and narrative opinion presented by interview quotes or the articles writer and form my own opinion based on the facts presented. The two paragraphs posted are the facts at hand.
1. Took place in Arizona during the gun walking program.
2. ATF was aware of this gun buyers-sellers criminal dealings, allowed it, covered it up from local law enforcement, initially took no action.
3. One of the guns were used at the Paris terrorist massacre.

The alleged goal was to let high powered, automatic rifles walk across the border and into the hands of cartel members in Mexico so as to be able to trace something. However all they could trace was that they were American weapons when they were left at the crime scenes.
