Taking the boat makes you appreciate the platinum you didn't give to Dial-A-Whatever.

Entertain yourself until you get your toon on the boat, and then go AFK for a few. Bathroom break. Food break. Stretch break. Take the dog out break. Come back and you've arrived.

I always find someone new to talk to when I wait for the boat. Of course the conversation usually revolves around us lamenting that we are taking the boat.

Quite true, poor choice of words on my part. At any rate I'd love to see both boats on the BB/FP route.

Also true. On P99 the boat from BB to FP correctly moves from east to west. On live the same boat went west to east.
