Keep in mind if you are worried about what you will look like the dark elf illusion mask is easily attainable.
Iksar and Erudite illusions are also common enough although a little pricey. And I think you get a high elf illusion item free when you complete your epic.

re-roll a dwarf rogue, max points on dex and the rest on str. thats what I did on mine.
Dex will help your backstabs and other skills level up faster and maybe increase hit rating which has not been proven yet and Str to hit harder. Barrel Rolls are great and when you get haze panther gear in the future, you will have max str dex unbuffed allowing you to put on resist gear and maintain 255 Str Dex with a shaman buffs for maximum dps. Alot of people say Dex does not increase hit rating, but I feel it does so no harm in maxing it along with Str. Dwarfs have great starting str and dex and are short which is good. Barbarians are too tall and you will find yourself crouching just to get into places sometimes.

Real min-maxers would put everything into agi(ac) and dex(prods) as once youre suited and booted in ToV loot you will cap sta and str easily.
If I could re roll I'd put it all into cha for vendors or int for trade skills.

Better faction means less charisma required to reach best prices.
As a rogue, I suppose you want enough charisma to be able to fence your goods with indifferent (sneak) faction?

Wouldn't it be easier to do some muffin/wine type quests or kill a few goblins/orcs than carrying around a set of charitable gear? To each their own, I guess.
