Hmm good idea

Once you get charm, just do the willowisp charm trick and you can get up to 20 in no time. 20-30 is rough until you can do Fv pirates 30-40.

You didn't define easy. Enchanters are powerful and have extra indoor camp options. Also easy to die if you lose attention or cast the wrong spell. I would only recommend the class if you look forward to charming, even though it has many other benefits.

They're desired in groups too, which can be nice if it's the looking that bothers you rather than the grouping itself.

When I leveled my enc I would spam pets like mages do. Once mob ran away at 20%, I /pet go away and finish for full exp. Then summon a new pet. 1-16 its actually pretty fast and tiny daggers are very cheap.
After 20 do one of the mage focus quests for instant click reclaim energy. I never leveled with this method but used it to do a little power leveling.

After 20, its easier and better exp to just charm. Also good to start learning around this level because once your 50+, 1 charm break and a stun will have you on a corpse run.

Easiest in what sense?

By far, the easiest (laziest) is just straight root rot. Not the fastest, but sure is easy.

Easiest?

Necros and Enchanters can do the hardest camps solo (necros usually dependent on the camp having undead mobs to charm) and level fast on their own. Extremely late game Shamans can also do difficult solo camps with Torpor but for most part they can’t.

Out of these enchanters are the hardest to play and require more knowledge and have high risk of dying.

Wizards and Druids can solo until 60 and are technically easy to play, druids have a few more tricks though with charming. Quad-kite for weeks, literally.

Mages, Shamans and a few other classes CAN solo to 60 but no idea why you’d want to. Most classes can solo to 50.

My vote for "easiest" would PROBABLY goto Necromancer. While not the "easiest" play at a top level, they have access to so many quality of life spells that will make the overall leveling experience so much easier. Feign Death is the obvious HUGE one and if that fails you have the ability to summon your corpse and eventually even Rez yourself. The ability to succor through zones etc etc.

Theyre also ABSURDLY powerful anywhere there are undead about giving them the ability to solo some really top-tier Kunark camps.

Wizard - root, nuke, nuke, nuke, nuke, loot, sit for 5 min, repeat.

Bags get full, teleport somewhere and go sell, bank.

Get bored of zone or all mobs camped, teleport somewhere else.

Druid very similar to Wizard, can't nuke for as much, but you get snare, sow, charm, dots, heals. I played a Wizard cause they were more rare, but currently playing Druid.
