TLP's are hard for me to understand because I do not understand the core playerbase. The game I enjoyed, revolved around some very curious sorts of people. But the TLP core player base seems mostly about efficiency. As if that is a no-brainer.



Makes me worry about the state of today's younger gamer.


Is efficiency "hip"? I am a lvl 60 no life retired pediatric neurosurgeon. I'm out of touch.


I used to have such gifted hands, so it's a bit ironic I would be "out of touch" roflmao :P I once separated twins who were attached at the frontal lobe. Neither had a face. But I succeeded, and they are still alive.



So if you see a woman in her late 30's but without a face, tell her I swear I thought they were gonna do the faces next.

IDK the core playerbase, but there are a lot of folks who have 5 bots following them around.

I think the live experience is like, boxing/MQ mainly.

Yeah. I think that *is* the game at the "core" level now level now. From the IP owners perspective, they love that people are swapping multibox strats. That's six subs each.

Yeah, the way I think of it is like, the game now is about people just love the macro aspect of everquest. Which I can understand, it was an important part of the game.

But they are like, "I want to take it to this level"

A lot of modern games (mobile in particular) just throw tons of progression systems with time gated garbage, login bonuses, FOMO inducing limited time events, and on and on.

It doesn't surprise me that the young'uns are trending toward efficiency when this is the kind of game they're exposed to. They either need to be efficient, or they miss stuff. I find myself getting caught up like that at times too, and I don't like it.
