Velious armors

Last time I tried it, it was all armors. Which kind of got annoying after awhile, but to each their own!

It is all armors. Also, Classic only has 3 textures: leather, chain, and plate (cloth is invisible and robes don't change), where Velious has 6. So when you do the mapping, you have to pick 3 of the Velious to replace the 3 Classic textures. You don't get to use all 6 Velious textures at once.

The Velious1 set uses Velious leather, chain, and plate to replace classic leather, chain, and plate textures, respectively.
The Velious2 set uses Velious cloth, ringmail, and scale to replace classic leather, chain, and plate textures, respectively.

i downloaded and extracted the files to replace my other ones, still no dice. Any suggestions?

if you patched it through eqemu launcher you gotta redo it

Nope i dont use the launcher. Just downloaded and unzipped directly to my eq folder. The replacement confirmation window comes up and i say yes to all and still nothing. I have even tried running win zip as admin and that didnt help either

downloading this file nearly made me throw my pc out the window.

I've got advice but people don't want to hear it. Be patient and enjoy the Velious armors when Velious is released...because once its here its not going away again.

Lol. They ARE seizing the day. They are taking steps available to them to accomplish something they want to do. Your motto should be something near the opposite of carpe diem if you want people to learn to be content with whatever happens to come their way. P99 wouldn't even exist if the staff had 'learned' to enjoy MMOs that were available rather than recreating a dead one.
