We've given out 2 AoNs to non AIM chat members, which speaks for itself. It's not corrupt, its not evil, we will guild kick for RMT (seriously try offering it at a raid, yer fuckin' dead). We won't delete items in front of people if they haven't served out some 6th month sentence. We have very little in the guild bank as we give out a lot and I'm sure if the guild bank does over flow with things like bard drums and tash orbs that we won't with hold them from sale or at extremely reasonable prices. I mean how many SoW swords did Nizzar take for himself? 3? We all just got a front row seat to Gongshow giving up a robe of azure sky to Bazia because believe it or not that guy has put the fuckin' work in on his enchanter and showed up to help with almost everything. This greed, this corruption you all claim... is just buried under a mountain of selfless loot decisions all of which I think are unanimously agreed upon. It begs the question though, why do we have so many people on the side lines picking at our loot decisions? That's an easy question to answer, your minds are completely pixel infected and you'll train, kill steal etc to get it. I heard in guild chat about a group of 6 OOR Azraels kill stealing the pained soul from someone. You realize kill stealing, pvp or not, is against the rules? I'm sure you care infinitely more about critiquing where our next AoN goes and nothing about that.
As far as guild size? it's a Velious sized raid force for sure, and if you think it was "scary" in bronze or whatever, its starting to bathe in sweet slime blood and chicken bones. Sometimes we get 35 sometimes we get 60. These new guys aren't all some core that shows up on time every time for everything, we gotta cover the spread and we sure as hell gotta gear this many for Velious... like it or not. Have you taken a swing at Sontalak on the beta? Or just the dragons a shaman can solo?
We don't know if Holo will ever split, burn out due to another 3 years of waiting for Velious or what. What we DO know is its causing people to stick around here and at least get geared up to the point that they can split off and hold their own at least a little bit pvping like Free Agents could be doing.
Word on the street is Slamdunk and Eternal Light merged. We need more guilds like those guys. They don't go zone to zone trying to stomp lvl 56's with disciplines, they don't corpse camp, they don't make rage novels on the forums about pvp. I'm glad to hear they merged and hope it turns out well. Most of all I hope they recruit new players, help new players with class decisions based on their interests/guild needs and grow the population.
There's a bigger prize than anything on Phara Dar's loot table to be had, its a server with a healthy population, gentle sirs engaging in PvP around that clock and regular development to finish out some remaining issues. I'd delete every pixel I own or have access to for that. Seeing Aussie come back and the pop clawing at 220-250.... who woulda thunk it? A year ago no one could have predicted the staff finally being done with the Duke ignoring their direction/acting like he owned the place, Haynar coming out of the woodwork and taking an interest in our little forumquest community and hammering out pvp fixes that were DESPERATELY needed.
Hell Stacey, I guarantee that duelist backstabbing me and chasing me was more fun than you're ever going to have looting an item. When you're ready to bury the sperg hatchet over me being against variance I'm down. Variance is literally the worst thing ever and caters to the 24-7 unemployed player more than ANYTHING else. Not to mention it is a custom change, which is never a good thing.
