Maksim just didn't raid that much, compared to some. Go check out his loot history. He only ever bought an enchanter staff from VP.

I think he did this as a way to force himself to quit. He had a goodbye post before all this raid scene drama ever came out, saying he would never return. This is like, the ultimate way he knows he can never get his accounts restored. Cut all ties to the game, etc.
