EXP is great, Lvl range is no good

basically someone disconnects from everquest while zoning.

say im in DL. I zone into KC and "plug"

I wont pop up in KC but my character will be logged there.

anti plug code would force someone to zone even if disconnected. whether or not AI would take over the character would be up to the devs but it would allow people to finish off their fleeing victim.

Unless I'm mistaken it originally referred to unplugging your modem as you zoned now it refers to closing your EQ client as you zone as a way to avoid PvP death. Though I will plug when necessary I wouldn't mind seeing it go.

removing plugging is about the dumbest idea ive ever heard. not only is it an OG legit tactic, but crashing while zoning is much too common on this server.

honestly i personally dont have that much of a problem with crashing as long as i reboot my box on a somewhat regular basis (downloading RAMdisk helped with this alot). however i see it happen to other people and hear people saying they crashed in TS while zoning multiple times everyday. and it will be a cold day in hell before i get a job with all these pixels to be had smed :P
