![]() BDA has gone from "R vs C is a matter of playstyle, we are casual/have lives, TMO beats us because they cheat" to "We are going to dominate Class R, we poopsock/batphone at 3AM, the other R guilds are shit because they can't field 55 for Trakanon".
It's such a remarkable 180 on message that I'm honestly surprised the guild hasn't just broken up. I suspect there are some cracks internally that are being papered over by pixels at the moment, if that should change things may go down hill very fast. | ||

There are folks in BDA who track targets, spend extra time buffing toons being camped out in case of :batphone:, & etc. There are officers who put ridiculous amounts of time into supporting the guild, including stepping up to track/buff/port when nobody else is volunteering. And you know, in the 16 months I've been in BDA what I've seen is that most of the people putting in lots of time get little loot. They've already got it all on their mains, and they often decline to put their alts in front of trial members for drops despite the guild policy of trials being last priority for loot. And when they do decide to gear up a new alt, they play so much that it doesn't take long for them to get what they need from the rots. We do have the "we may be a casual raiding guild but we are a raiding guild, if you're online when a raid is called you show up or you /tell an officer to explain why you can't" rule. That's been in place since before I joined, i.e. before the whole class R/C thing came to be, it's not a change. What we all like is the casual/friendly atmosphere. That hasn't changed either. There are two changes since the rotation collapsed under its own weight: 1. targets are open to us much more frequently, and 2. there is an expectation of competition from other guilds for every raid target so we must mobilize fast. This means that instead of once or twice a month camping raid-buffed toons for an FFA target, we do it on a fairly regular basis for FFA and R targets. Players with sub-60 mains or no alt they care to play keep an eye on guildchat and keep their caps charged. I'm one of the casual scrubs and I don't see any of these cracks you're speculating about. I don't think you "get" BDA.

Are you fucking kidding me? Seriously? You're fucking kidding right? I'm having a stroke right now aren't I? All BDA ever did the entire time I was there as a trial was duck raids and bring their alts to get gear in front of trials. How many main rogues are there? None...Oh cool I'll app. Neat a Hate raid, 11 rogues online. Fucking priceless.
