Overt racists are a bigger problem than either crypto-racists or lone wolf loonies, statistically speaking. But since seeing the scars of a White classmate who was punished for being a White girl without armed guard at night, raped and her pretty White face disfigured with a blade by a New Orleans gang, and a college age White friend shot to death without provocation by two eighteen-year-olds born to undocumented immigrants so close to my childhood home that the sound of gunfire echoed off the garage I used to keep my razer scooter in, I've taken the open hatred with which my race is regarded a bit more seriously than the average White person who has yet been lucky enough to live in areas without feral hominids that view them as the "others".
The average individual in my current, 99% White, place of residence where violent crime isn't even a remote concern only hears about daily occurrences like this through ebil Rethugnican and Nahtzee news outlets and would mock me openly if I claimed Whites have been the broadest class of sufferers of race-based violence in the US for some decades now. Lucky for them the race database assembled under Obama will allow for the careful distribution of Section 8 housing such that they'll be able to form a first-hand opinion soon enough.
