People could act like adults and consistently be nice. Or they could read and consistently follow the rules. And then the GM's would not need to consistently ban people for consistently breaking the rules.

Also, it's 2017, you can't make fun of people's sexual orientation anymore, so yes, one day you will get banned for calling someone a tranny most likely. It's a real easy ban to avoid though. Just don't do it.

censorsbip has been largely report driven and so bans weren't issued unless someone pm'd a screens of they damaged feelings to a moderator. we've more moderators now though actively managing things and I tend to think they mostly evenhanded in light of some of the darker, more tyrannical periods we've seen in forum history with zero tolerance for anything that could be construed as hurtful words or trump-like nastiness.

I'm glad to see the mods take out the trash. Too many untalented trolls on p99, most of whom dont even play here but just cant leave their efriends. A lot of people were trolling the guild recruitment forums until sirken laid down the law.

There is no *championing of feelings*, when the top stickied post in Guild Recruitment says no trolling, no flaming, no warnings. Grow a thicker skin at adhering to the rules, maybe instead of defending them. Just sayin'
