As someone who mains a warrior, I’m biased. The journey in the beginning is pretty rough, especially not being twinkled out well with weapons, jboots, haste, etc. You really hit your stride in the 50s though, if you can tough out the beginning.
I really like playing an SK in the lower levels. The amount of utility and FD are a blessing. Choose whatever makes you happy. Personally, I love being a warrior and tanking everything.

some fine advice in this thread already.
My 2 cents: SK: I like sk's alot but the problem is that they are fairly weak in the spectrum of power. You have to rly enjoy the class. Sk i would rank the class that depends on reaching lvl 60 the most. (Sk is viewed as tank / FD able puller, but you wont be able to experience the 2nd of these at its full potential until reaching lvl 60). Basically paladin is better all the way through from lvl 9 to 59. Monk: monk is probably the most played melee type (I think slightly more populated then rogue). You have to ask why this is the case, and I think it is mostly because they are the most solo viable melee. (mend, fd, 70% bandage, high dps) the only big downside to monk is they are harder to walk around on then other classes due to weight restrictions. Warrior: You either love it or hate it, but the slow grind of the warrior can be fun and rewarding. Fun because the simple nature of leveling the warrior in groups means you don't have to work as hard for the xp. (once you found a group at least) Fun because tank, more hp, more ac, can take more risks then other classes and not wind up dead as fast. The main problem I see with the war goes unmentioned in these forums tho, and that is this: every guild has 3 main tanks and 7 more high lvl warriors who could pick up the torch already should they decide to quit. at 60 you only need 1 warrior, or 3 for raiding, where as Any other class extras are fine and useful. | ||
