I guess they don't want an entire raid force showing up for scout to roll on for help w/ Klandi.

Still pretty clever. Must have been hilarious with all the crying.
itd prob be less of an issue if there wasnt 6 plast bots at every scout, its a bad look to begin with. Using red strats on a server where people actually play also isnt best move.

Honestly I'd rather see something impressive like this happen then having entire raid forces showing up on bots to stack the rolls like they do now anyways.

You keep saying “clever”. They did what other people do elsewhere, but failed at it.

Saying you don't see the issue here is wild. That would be like saying you don't see the issue with someone charming the evil eye that manastones drop off of in OG classic because they like having it kill mobs as a pet, while a ton of people wait in line to try to get a manastone.
I'll bite..

Charming EE stop's EE's from spawning. It removes supply.

Spawning scout giants does nothing to the supply, in 10 hours scout will spawn again. The captain and the giants have nothing to do with her. Doesn't affect anyone. They all get to log off earlier even so it's doing the losers a favor not having to help in a kill.

Your comparison is terrible.

Charming the captain does mean there isn't a -1 to the lottery participants for next scout roll (unless you kill the cap after sont/glandlicker?) ... this is assuming that the guild rollers even are actually rolling for the loot.

It is the loot right that is being rolled for, not the mob rights, right?

Correct execution would allow for killing the captain afterwards. As we can see here though, its pretty easy to accidentally get him killed if you don't execute correctly. This is especially true if you're still working out the fight mechanics to try and figure out exactly what is needed to support him and haven't done this before.

Like five years back I remember some dude collecting a bag full of BoB's for lulz.

Suspending a bunch of people over a a single -1 lottery is dumb.
