lol @ ele.

Dire Wolf model looks badass - me and Dolic were discussing it tho - Dolic seemed to think that those models were only found in Kael / GD and the "nice" ones in Thurg/EW.

No evidence to support same - but makes sense dorfs would have friendly lookin' wolves and giants have badass mean ones.

Just sayin.

The ones in Thurgadin were the white ones. I don't have evidence either, just memory.

This is anecdotal, but I do remember the first time I traveled to Great Divide/Thurgadin. I freaked out initially because I thought the waterfall patrol wolves would be KOS. That probably means they were gray/dire (aka menacing looking).

I'm pretty sure the thurgadin wolves were white. That pic of the coldain with the dark/evil looking wolf just looks off. Like above, I have no evidence. Just memory.

Were there any wolves in velious that used the old world models? If so, can someone provide a screenshot?

Would a contemporaneous ShowEQ database show the model #?

Not sure one exists for OG velious.

If it did, it should display race, which would help. Regular wolves are global, race 42. Dire wolves are race 171.

I remember white inside...

I think Nirgon has access to a legit velious DB?
