Sam was here in the 30pop days, reading some of his posts way back then made me try it out even with the lower population. When I ran into him for the first time ever on red he was powerlevling a handful of scrubs in unrest and even started up a small leveling guild for the very few of us who were joining when the server never went about 50 for weeks/months at a time.
There were quite a few versions of this same process as the time passed, bottom line, even when the server was at it worst sam was tryin to help it grow and continued that path up until he became jaded after seeing the server become the zergfest it was destine to be. If you're been around a while you see that almost everyone here goes through the love-hate spectrum for the server. It's pretty normal.

Nah i feel that. I used to recruit players to p99 offsite and powerlevel/hand out rubies/run a leveling guild under a different persona. But here I am shitposting & only logging in for empire raids. Basically 1i step away from a bitter wow/eve player myself.

Samwise created a guild that was much like Fresh but the significant difference was that his crew actually PvPed successfully against the number 1 guild.
He brought players that probably still directly or indirectly represent a chunk of the community. He has been very bitter the last year and it has diminished the perception of his contributions. | ||
