So I guess the moral of the story is, if you even suspect you're going to loose a fight, run. Pride is a newbie's vice. Also remember that those asshats of mobs will chase you across the ENTIRE zone. They will only stop if you zone, you can make it to a guard (and hope the guard kills it before it kills you), or another player sees your plight and intervenes.

Don't kill stuff in the newbie area till 5, go to orc hill at 4, then after a couple levels into crushbone you can stay in crushbone till 10-14 depending on your preference. if you stay until 10 you can go to freeport to kill orcs...if you stay in crushbone until 14 you can go straight to oasis of mar.

Aye. Get a bind @ the orc lift in Kelethin. Crushbone til 14, then turn in ALL the belts you'll get...and head to Oasis and do the croc camps with people until you're ready for Upper Guk.

Hey guys!

So from where I was level 4 I managed to find an orc hill group for a while.

Got 9 belts and a bunch of plat from weps.

Belts got me to 5.

Logged in today to see 4 people in Gfay so no hope for a group.

I found a really nice spot, the hill and plain at the entrance to Kaladim.

Farming decaying skeles + krag chicks got me from 5-8 in a couple hours.
There's enough of them to be killing constantly.

Handing in bone chips + chick talons in the same guild is also v handy + upgraded 10 different armour slots purely from the quest rewards, actually quite a decent solo way for that level/area.

Time for Crushbone 8)

The problem I'm having with everyone's advice is that there's never anyone in these places and if there is they ignore me when I ask if they wanna group.

Getting destroyed in crushbone @ lvl 9, back to orc hill I guess to solo

Especially as a low Druid. Crappy weapon, miss a good 50 percent of my attacks and it takes ALL of my mana to kill 1 blue centurion.

Then multiple minutes to regen it all as my meditate is only 36.

Never? You mean in the middle of the night (US time). Gfay usually has 25-35 players at any given time in the evening, and CB 20+. Unrest will be packed, then often 0 in the middle of the night. Mistmoore usually has the most people at all hours in Faydwer, at least some people in there in the late-late hour. At that hour, EC is about it apart from maybe a few groups around and some soloers/off-hour farmers.

Never as in, my hours [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
Not the right word to use, unfortunately I'm from Australia.
Now it's 5:40am and I've had good groups all night, this game is fucking gonna kill my sleeping pattern so bad.

Today I had two people fighting over who gets to give me free stuff/whos I should use.
Just wanted to share that because it's nice to be a part of a community where it feels like everyone cares about the game rather than min/maxing everything from stats to coins etc.

Glad I came back for another shot, had nothing but good experiences. I tried a few months ago and was put off over the first few days, guess I had an unlucky run and came across all the bad apples :P

Ah, yeah when I get into my hoot owl mode (I'm on PST time) I end up playing with Aussies in most games [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] Umm... I believe that there is an EU guild here... for off hours activity. Though I think that is mid morning for you vs mid evening for them. Most here seem to be from the Eastern US, a bit from Central time. I don't know if there is an AU guild, I wouldn't be surprised though. A matter of finding other people on at the hours you are. Me I just pull my ranger out and have a field day hunting named mobs that are going feral and lonely in those wee off-hours.

I'm having fun exploring the game so far anyway.
