I think guilds that were caught cheating like TMO should have there Guild tags disbanded and all the gear wipped.No other punshiment would fit the crime.

The problem with removing items from the cheaters is technically everyone in their guilds cheated and used MQ2 to get loot, even if they didn't know it, so all of those items would have to be gone, too.
