I can afford $3 to boost xp (and by extension fun) of playing one of my favorite games for 4 hours
Does $3 break your bank? If so I suggest getting off this forum immediately | ||

But the servers client, code and spell data was so old that no EXP increasing potions or temporary boosts could be used on the server. Al'Kabor also had a really weird bug that existed for a short period of time on live. Basically the EXP a mob gave was multiplied by the number of people in the group, and then split between them after. Which is normal for EQ, but the problem was this multiplication of the EXP occurred first in the code and then when it came time to split the EXP, you could have people out of range of the kill and they aren't counted in the split. So a group of 6 people, with 5 at the zone in and 1 guy soloing across the map, the one guy would be getting around 260% of the EXP. So doing this at say PoFire tables you went from getting around 12-15% AA per kill to 40% per kill. Pretty ridiculous if you were a quadding wizard. Going from 50% of an AA per kill to about 160%. Even more ridiculous if you were Shakerpaging or Pit Warring.
