Dilaudid has really low bio availability aside from IV, so its pretty much only used that way.

and nothing wrong with recreational opiate use, so long as it doesnt become an addiction, then its a problem.

Would never IV, i don't even like to rail pills, i just eat them. Oxy has a really high oral bio avail anyway.

I generally partake in opiates once every couple months, I don't think its really an issue as long as you have enough will power to take breaks so it doesn't become a habit.

Forgot to mention that one of the ingredients in suboxone, the narcan, being an opiate antagonist it's a REALLY bad idea to take it after you do dope/opiates. You need to wait at least 8 hrs after doing shit before you take a sub. If you don't, it will send you into IMMEDIATE and CRIPPLING withdrawals. It's really fucking bad. Fortunately i've never had to experience this, but i've seen it. Someone really close to me (I am not going to say who) overdosed in my car one day and stopped breathing. Somehow i managed to get them breathing again but he/she was REALLY fucked up and kept fading in and out, trying to run around outside the car, and generally just being totally out of control, so I made him/her let me shoot them up with some suboxone to knock them off their high. They went from being the most fucked up I've ever seen someone on a drug, including alcohol, to being stone cold sober in about 2 seconds after the shot went in. The narcan knocked them right the fuck out of their high, and then he/she went into brutal, agonizing withdrawals, and I nearly had to take them to the hospital it was so bad.

You don't ever want to have to go through that, so be very very careful when mixing suboxone with opiates. There is another very similar drug called subutex that doesn't have any narcan in it, and is safe to take before/after using opiates. It's worth mentioning that after taking a suboxone you can't get high on opiates for at least a good 8 hours, usually more, so don't waste your drugs after taking a suboxone. It's ok if you took a subutex because it doesn't have the narcan in it.

If you're unsure about something drug related, regardless of what it is, for the love of god please ask me first. Send me a pm and i'd be happy to answer your question. i've got a lot of experience with this shit, and i don't want to see some idiot shooting up wrong or overdosing on a speedball when they could have just asked for help. I'm also a young pharmacist. =P
Wow.

....wow?

im an ex addict, as most of the people on here know. When you're fucking with stuff that can kill you, you had better know what the fuck you're doing in an emergency.

Seen lots of people overdose. I know from those situations that I can keep a calm, clear, and focused mind when shit really hits the fan, where others would be (and have) freaked the fuck out. Been through some crazy shit but it's made me the good person I am today, and despite the hardships i wouldn't change a thing.
