Red Dawn didn't go after anyone. They get attacked by Azrael. If you are saying Azrael gets side tracked from attacking Nihilum because of their new targets, Red Dawn, that is their fault.

Red Dawn has a pretty simple and clear goal as a guild. Nihilum the same. Red Dawn's goals don't interfere with Azrael in the least bit. I don't know what Azrael's current goal is, or if they really have one besides logging in and just messing around to have fun, but it if it is to destroy Nihilum Red Dawn isn't going to stand in the way.

I think Azrael's goal has always been to "do their thing" and I can respect that. I haven't heard any Azrael member say they have visions of taking Nihilums place. I think they are more PVP focused then either RD or Nihilum. There is a place for them on R99. I always watch my ass when they are in the zone. I think they tend to be capable and always out for blood.

I think RD is taking the exact approach that it must to maintain long term relevance. Why people are taking anything I said as in insult is beyond me.

I thought it was a savvy political move to sell out Azrael to Nihilum. I don't know how you can blow it out of proportion when you consider the ramifications.

Before:
Azrael asking Heartbrand and/or Red Dawn for assistance. I distinctly remember a Nizzar post confirming Red Dawn KOS to Nihilum as well. Not saying this one event changed that, but this condition existed as recently as a week ago.

After:
Nihilum opening sending aid to Red Dawn. Azrael going directly after Red Dawn.

So from my perspective, that comment either lead directly or had direct effects on Red Dawn switching which side of the fence they were on.

TLDR version:

Before:
Nihilum KOS list: Azrael, Red Dawn
Azrael KOS list: Entire server minus Red Dawn (hell maybe RD too I don't know)

After:

Oh, and Red Dawn might not have attacked Azrael in PVP but the the interaction between HB and Nihilum in the whole Trakanon deal was the stated reason for Azrael going after RD. If I were describing who threw the first punch, I'd have to say HB/Red Dawn. Azrael people were saying openly in chat last night if HB formally apologized for that event they'd stop attacking.

Point being, it was a significant event and not being blown out of proportion.

what people seem to be missing here is azrael had 0 problems with RD. infact we didn't wana greif pvp or bother them ( since we figured it was helping the server) until Checkraise went and snitched to nizzar. now if checkraise just declined to do trak. and didn't mention anything to nizzar about azrael doing it then we wouldn't have a problem, but because he wanted to be a snitch/scum he will be treated like one. his actions as a guild leader reflects his guild he should know this

Let's turn Azrael into the Lucid Visions of old and form a new AD/Wudan empire.

The result of Checkraise telling Jizzar that Azrael wanted to kill Trak had 0 influence on what happened. The end result would have been the same. Checkraise basically gave useless information to Jizzar to have good standing with them. Azrael obviously didn't have the numbers to do Trak or they wouldn't have asked Checkraise. Lite can say he only wanted Checkraise as many times as he wants but it was obvious with the posted conversation that Lite wanted as many numbers as Checkraise could offer.

Red Dawn is going to be the target of whatever is left of Azrael sooner or later anyways. As they start seeing RD members flood into their backyard they aren't going to just sit around and do nothing.

Azrael's farms gear that can be traded
Nihilum farms no drop items
Red Dawn plans on doing both, especially while leveling up, so they will be stepping on others toes eventually.
