Iksar faction?

I'm pretty sure that Greenmist was Iksar only when it was first introduced then changed to all SK races later during Luclin.

According to the wayback machine you seem to be correct about it starting out as iksar only.

I dont know if the quest for explorer knives is on this server but I know that I have seen the explorers in the tower in Lake of Ill Omen. If you kill explorers to get non kos to the legion and then turn in all of the knives you can get a pretty significant faction boost with most iksar factions. You will still have to kill outlaws for brood of kotiz faction though.

If the max faction gain is 2,000 and I'm still at scowling with 1,755+ turn ins (I assume 1 turn in = 1 hit), then that leaves about 245 hits for me to gain 2 levels of faction (get to dubious from scowling). Knives might affect the rate of gaining faction hits, but it wouldn't affect the best case end point I could reach.

I'd really like to know if my reading of the 2,000 max gain is correct, and if so, whether it's possible for me to even get to dubious with 245 hits left (e.g. if the step from threatening to dubious requires 250 hits, then I know it's impossible for me to get there).
