Lots of people would play a fresh server because there would be way more PvP and groups going on.

Rogean/Nilbog definitely have the right idea following the Path of Exile style of turning the current red or blue servers into the "copy all the current chars here" and releasing true timeline servers as seasonal offerings to keep things fresh and prevent a lot of the "alts camped around the world" stuff that detracts from the true classic experience

But if you don't like it now? Leave and check back, and leave a thanks for Haynar when you do. The lengths he went to help the PvP code here weren't required of him and he was dealing with all kinds of shit while he did it.

Have they decided to go this route? That would be one way to salvage EQemu, one reason is that they could try various setups and see what generates the most fun.

Sucks that you could find the sweet spot for a setup and then when season over its back to stale red99 setup again or potentially a new shitty setup.
