I joined for groups and that was it In my time there I grouped twice maybe? In 6 levels as a paladin? Do you realize how slow/sucky that is? Anyone who knows me well enough in game knows i give out Plat and items all the time. Im not some loot whore or leech Never asked for anything. Oh wait i did i asked to BUY mithril leggings and BUY a power level was told 6k as a guildie price. Iron, what you need to do is cultivate a partnership with a healer or two around your level and level up with them. If it was not for a couple shaman I know i'd still be in my low 30's or something. Being a meele is hard, but its about the glory right? Anyone can just mage it up to 50 by december and claim they did something.

Battle was the obvious choice, you and him should of smitted the undead to 50.

p.s. all the BS about loot only going to Nihilum officers is.. BS. (p.p.s. Iron, you had until very recently better gear then some lvl 50 paladin(s) I know... skarlon sword, mith BP, levitation cloak...etc, gear was not your problem, you were and are well geared).

Being a meele main is hard, but we all rolled up as such with eyes wide open. You got to get in good with some other people around your level and watch their back and they will watch yours. Its the only way...

yeah but most of those items. minus the sword i got on my own. sword only was mine because the group was all casters but me. and i also said. it seemed like they were pissed it was going to me.

jboots, and levi cloak. i got during my milita days. same with ghoulbane and my mithril.

I camped 99.9 percent of all my gear myself too (the only item ive ever bought from another player on this server was an oppaline earring for 25plat and some SoW potions), at levels where the camps still gave me xp.

Thats how it goes and thats the road we walk.
