bigly difference between "died from covid" and "died with covid"

problem is hospitals were getting fed bucks from reporting covid deaths

literal true story: guy died in a motorcycle accident here in FL...tested positive for covid, chalked up as a covid death

I've seen several 65+ people who were 100% independent, functional, cognitively intact, become drooling retards after COVID infection. Most of them came back to about 80% eventually, one died, but not one discharged to their prior level of function.

I think preventing death was not the purpose, it was managing healthcare resources at the macro. Systems in less developed countries have nimbler footprints.
