if i was a casual I would just camp at the book and loot it as soon as it spawns. Fuck the system
same, tbh it's not worth working within unclassic system on p99 as a casual. it's not worth the time nor effort to pad a bunch of ego's inside of the UN. Just play the game.

Hey this happened today! But not by a fella trying to fuck the system, just a fella who wasn’t aware of the rules. He is suspended now. Probably not the ideal strat.

So Savage, the second guild to back out of the agreement after Castle, and the only other one that would have been able to skip the rolling to port up, parks a rogue at the book (which also would have required help and accomplices to port them up) to pick it up the second it spawns, and we're expected to believe it was just a misunderstanding after it was explicitly emphasized by Blistig that you had to zone out first after it popped?

Suspended, but does he still have the book?

If he has the book it was worth it 100%.

Book status unknown. Dude's too suspended to log in and check =(. It did seem like an honest mistake, I feel bad for the guy.

Think it was more for the server rules that were violated by virtue of having looted that groundspawn in that way, but y'know, semantics.

This game is not hard for me. I know some of you struggle with it deeply, but there's also a lot of evidence to suggest that you are degenerates, whereas I am a super high functioning human being, which is also why I was mining dogecoin when it was worth less than a penny a coin, and Ethereum when it was worth less than $100 an Ether. I know how to work efficiently, and I know how to invest money. This is why I didn't buy over-priced items on Green when I knew that the only thing that would hold it's value in terms of investment was Tinkerer's bags.

I would actually argue that P99 in it's current state is like the easiest version of EverQuest you'll ever play. On TLP you are not going to amass 250K worth of platinum for 6 months so you can have a major competitive edge over every other player on the server. People can and will come and take your camps. You need to make friends and play with other people for protection. Amassing wealth doesn't really work because of Kronos and quicker release time-lines.

There are no ZEMs so you actually have to grind in dungeons and don't just go to 300% ZEM zones and then pipeline your way to max level, and AFK farm NPCs for free plat under protection of a PNP that says no one else is allowed to participate.

Like I can't even fathom thinking this game is hard, or thinking people are lying about how easy it is to accrue wealth in it.

For those of you who have never played on TLP, Kronos are basically the bitcoin of EverQuest. 99% of the Kronos are never redeemed for game-time, but rather, are an alternative form of currency, and for most high-end items, no amount of platinum will buy them. For items like Cloak of Flames, the only payment that is generally accepted is Kronos, because of their long-term value. It actually solves a lot of problems with hyper inflation.
