They had local elections earlier not long ago that leavers advertised as a 'second referendum'...

Of course the majority of votes went to parties supporting remain or an informed referendum. Of course that wasn't picked up by the news. Tomorrow we have general election. More illusion of informed democracy.

That Aussie Yank has way too much power over what he can fill people's minds with. With all the 'they took our jobs' bull shit he circulates i wish he'd take his foreign fingers out of our national press.

It all sounds like a very sad break down of democracy.

How does your public trust in any future vote? Why would leavers vote to leave again?

It's almost like they were systematically lied to in order to encourage a leave vote [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Do you know anything about the disinformation campaign that occurred in the lead up to the first referendum?

Yea, there was an investigation into the Conservative general election campaign and somewhere between 86-88% of their ads contained misinformation, thats before considering 'unofficial' advertisement.

As i said before thise who control the media chose the king.

for the Conservatives, it said that 88% (5,952) of the party's most widely promoted ads either featured claims which had been flagged by independent fact-checking organisations including BBC Reality Check as not correct or not entirely correct. The figure includes instances of the same claims being made across multiple posts. One example was that Labour would spend £1.2 trillion at a cost of £2,400 to every household, which was contained within 4,028 ads. Those sums are significantly higher than others' analysis of Labour's plans

Lmao “misinformation”. Sounds like your peasants had a case of wrongthink. That sounds horrific for you guys. Talk about 1984 style. Ouch. Bad peasants voting the way we elites don’t want.

This is incoherent but i'll try to respond.

Claiming a net loss of 1000 police officers is actually an increase in officers is misinformation.

Retaining* 19000 nurses is not the same as training and hiring 19000 more. Misinformation.

Lieing about the per household cost out of their opponents manifesto is misinformation.

Campaign fibs are nothing to do with the wrongthink issue.

*obviously increasing retention would be great too. Much cheaper than training and hiring new workers.
