Two questions while I try trimming more fat - if anybody knows...

1 - What is the Atlas directory for (its full of tga and xml files)?

2 - Do I need any of the Tutorial files in the root directory (i.e. for the character select screen or otherwise)?...

i'm really digging the stone interface and i think if you could bundle that, plus the optional velious and get the login server, server select, char select and all the models/effects right it would be a perfect client for this server!

also would be a great help for those playing on netbooks and usb sticks

Do we need the voice, user data, storyline folder, and audio triggers folders?

*edit* my goal isn't so much a super-lite install as much as getting rid of all the extra crap that we will never use/need on this server.

I use the Velious UI (Japino_Classic_UI_v1.1.zip) that is linked elsewhere on the boards. This is in my uifiles\default directory above.

I'd love to get the old skellie/wolf models, but not sure how to do it. I'm guessing that is somewhere on the boards too - starting my search now. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
Unfortuntately, it's not possible to get the Wolf/Skellie models back. Here are the reasons why:

And regarding the EQ LIte client... I need to implement some of the changes you guys made to the directory. I got my client down to 700mb or so, but I also removed EVERY zone except Classic. I took the Kunark & Velious zone files and put them in a backup directory for when I need them later... just for the sake of trying to get a really small client.

I'm at 1.35gb, with all music, sounds, models, and including the Kunark/Velious content.

The only changes to my above list (when I was around 1.45gb) is that I wiped the contents of the Atlas and Maps directories, and I deleted the tutorial*.* files from the main directory.

I will continue to remove things as I see them, but I honestly don't think it can be made a whole lot smaller if you want full functionality through Velious.
