Firstly I've been casino'ing on P99 longer than you've even been around, with 0 complaints and hundreds of happy gamblers. I sell cheap items that people wager and lose, and Trade Federation + myself have given away tens of thousands of plat in rolloff giveaways + provided trustworthy escrow/transfer services.

Secondly should I judge all GMs based on Amelinda's behavior?

you would have seen that this has been a thing for much longer than this thread has been up. You can feel free to compare GM's based off whatever you'd like, but if you're just trying to draw a parallel to what I just posted it's clear you didn't read/understand it, or chose not to.

Casino's are classic. I hate them, but they are more classic than Rogean.

Maybe an official approved guild of casino's, or a guild like Dial a port could handle trusty Dealer's...

I was considering opening up the <Nomsanto Industries> tag to long-time reputable casino operators if they would like to join. The rule would be: Spend X time establishing a rep. When the council approves it, you're in. You fuck up once, you're out. You fuck up badly enough, and it sounds like there may even be *possible* CSR consequences.

Better yet, Reince should start a guild specifically for this and only allow operators in good standing. I believe Tookie did this a while back with the <Norrathian Gaming Commission> and it seemed to work pretty well.

Sure, others could try to run casinos on anon lvl 1 nakeds, but then *nobody* is going to feel bad for you when you lose your money.

Scamming appears to be extraordinarily rare and...spam in EC tunnel? I don't use shout and i broadcast my odds no more often than anyone else spams their non-classic item links.

For some people, the spam/scamming is enough. For the CSR staff, myself included, that alone isn't enough to justify banning casinos. It's important for the server and something I've made a priority. That answer will have to do, because I'm not revealing any more than that.
