Default Constantly disconnecting before Character Select

Hi,

I've noticed that in the past 2 days I am unable to connect to P1999 using tethering. The system fails to load up character select.

This confuses me, as the moment I swap to using Cable Internet, it connects, however is taking longer than usual to connect.

The only explanation I can think of is either 1 of 2 things.

1: You have changed your firewall / server rules in regards to accepting inbound connections.

2: The ISP has changed the way it routes traffic and uses multiple pathways.

3: You are currently being DDOSed, meaning only traffic with lower ping speeds will establish a connection.

Please let me know.

Also, what are some logs I can look into to find out more information? I have tried some basic googling but it is failing me (or I am just failing at it).

Just an update, I think your P1999 game servers are being DDOSed. I was able to test connection to other EMU servers successfully, plus the population is dropping to levels lower than usual.

- Or might just be tin foil hat... seem to be able to connect now...
