Not getting faction hits in Kael
In Kael, healing teammates that are fighting giants does not result in a faction hit when the giant dies & it should.

No it shouldn't.
Search EQClerics.org. There are many posts about this. Clerics had to melee once or tag a mob with strike or some other low level nuke to guarantee a faction hit each kill. Healing alone shouldn't provide you a faction hit on a reliable basis.

So far from what I have seen faction hits from healing are only happening in outdoor zones.

I played a cleric through GoD and I also remember having to damage the mob somehow to get a faction hit. Became easier when clerics got those sick summoned proc hammers.

I would strike, melee or Karn every giant to make sure I got faction hits.
Totally classic

There used to be some player crafted rings that had like 1 dmg clicky on them. We used them a lot. Dunno if they are in game. We did that during pop era tho.
