Would we want classicly "broken" quests fixed on p99?

So I've been hunting in Burning Woods a lot lately (bard in his 50's, go figure), and I've killed some giants from time to time. I've seen a Petrified Charred Branch (http://wiki.project1999.com/Petrified_Charred_Branch) drop twice. As you can see by looking at the link on the p99 wiki, it's for nothing.

However, it appears it wasn't actually SUPPOSED to be for nothing. Apparently on live they only just recently fixed these long-broken quests, probably mostly because of Agnarr and old-world stuff getting a closer look at it again.

I was looking through some of these items, and they don't seem to be overpowered or anything. In fact, they seem to have been intended to be in the game all along, if some of the drops for the quests and quest NPC's are in the game anyways.

My opinion is that it'd be really cool/good to add these to the game, especially as we're just about out of any new content, aside from the Chardok 2.0 patch. It'd be a cool way to add some content, which was supposed to be there in the classic game in the first place, and would add just a little bit of new life to the server (IMO). I know I'll get a few staunch "NOT CLASSIC NOPE NO WAY JOSE" kinds of responses, but hey, it's not like I'm proposing Luclin or PoP or anything here, just fixing what's broken and looks like should have been "Classic Kunark" all along.

Has anything like this (fixing old "broken" quests on p1999) ever been discussed before? What does everyone think?
