Default New Install Question

I recently finished installing and making the modifications to my everquest files in order to log in.

When I logged in I was able to create a character and enter the game. Once I got into the game, my character (and everything) moved like it was in fast forward, is this a setting of the server or something??

After I tried zoning out of the starting city I crashed and was told I could not connect because at the time my IP has a temporary block on it. Did I do something wrong or is there a work around for this?

Thanks!

It sounds like you're having dual-core issues which you can find a fix to in one of the stickies in this subforum.

You got an i.p. blockage because it takes a second to clear your ip for you so that you can log in is all, you should be fine.
