Not to be mean, but the Erudite mask has been going for ~2500pp for the last 6 months or so, see http://wiki.project1999.org/Mask_of_Obtenebration. So, you were never really -in-. On the positive side, since ERU are "good alignment" by default, you won't see similar benefits for owning this mask as you would having the DE mask. So don't feel like you are seriously missing out, either.

Its not a horrible valuation. Its a niche item with zero real purpose other than to make an ERU rogue/bard. And their plate is horrible. Be lucky you got/get 3k from it.
