I mostly agree with this, unless the purpose of their gathering is to unveil some interesting ideas about how to fix Red's population problem. I'd tune in and be interested to hear about that even if I still never play there again.

Or hell, maybe they are just using this as a test run and don't want to tackle really involving subjects. This time will be some light banter about red and if it goes well maybe next time we'll get some Velious info.

I surely hope so. Otherwise there is this Time locked progression server that will be released in March 2014.

There will be also EQNext Landmark in preparation of EQnext that might be good.

Either way, it's getting old.

Velious is 99% content-specific work. It has nothing to do with pvp in particular. The work done for pvp actually has nothing to do with content, because content is the same for both servers. I'm involved in management of both servers, so deal with it I guess.
