i dont really see how letting beastlords be playable would break anything, they were released when the cap was still 60.

although the AA's and stuff sorta puts me off, i dont see how letting people play the class will ruin velious in any way shape or form.

complain less.

im not demanding them, but saying i dont see what "headache" it'd cause to simply allow the class to be played for people who want to, long after velious is released ofc.

But this is a classic server.

Rangers = classic
Beastlords = Not
P99 = classic

Not sure if I get your point. Rangers don't need special attention to add - granted I am not a programmer, but I assume a headache would be adding Beastlords to all the gear, quests, zones, etc. that are out there except for Vah Shir since they won't be available. Plus making quests for gear in zones they might not have them... I don't think Velious gear was added for Beastlords after Luclin came out, or PoSky - don't quote me on that but you know people would complain about not having quest gear.

There is a reason they aren't adding Luclin and anything else after, because it was the begining of the suck for EQ at that expansion, and everything else after was a little shittier until all that is left is the shitball that EQLive is today.

Topping everything off, the Beastlord class added no real value to EQ, at least zerkers are great DPS after mass AA's, but Beastlords just sit there and suck. The argument of adding them in cause it doesn't hurt is not really valid.

It boogles my mind that people choose to play on as close to a classic server as technically possible, constantly request changes that are not "classic" There are many other servers available that are open to these types of suggestions, feel free to play on those. This server is designed to be classic and every single request to add a non classic element is just plain idiotic. It has nothing to do with "harm" or "balance", it has everything to do with the fundamental reason this server exists. This post is most likely a troll. But regardless, your request is not classic (including trilogy) so GTFO.

hmmm i was about sure lvl cap was increased to 65 with luclin....it was not???

It was a worthless class then and is still a worthless class now. Putting them in P99 wouldn't change that, it would just create a headache for the devs to add a class that is worthless. Thankfully I am about 100% sure they will NOT be added to this server.

Ok - they had 1 spell on Live. 1 spell. Top guilds rarely carry more than 2 beastlords... actually 2 is pushing it.
