I think we made some moves towards putting in special rules for VP last night, as it should be. No reason you should be able to "LNS" by camping out your raid force post rez for an hour. That zone sucks to die in, losing in PVP should be painful.

That being said, I don't think anyone deliberately broke any rules there last night personally. Even the training (whichever side it came from) wasn't done to purposely train the other side. It was a combination of one side trying to get to the other while mobs were being trained away/pathing back from a PVE engagement.

But still, the whole "scoot" thing needs to be redefined a bit specifically for VP.

wait, azrael skirting the rules by picking apart rules that are clear as day but not worded properly enough to cover any kind of backdoor rule lawyering?

This is the kinda shit that needs to be addressed, the rules are quite clear. stop manipulating them to fit your situation....

Being able to camp out for LNS is retarded. Imagine fighting in the Seb Crypt, losing, calling LNS and then camping out in the crypt on top of the group for an hour only to log back inside and fight them again. Makes zero sense.

I agree. I think when you call LNS you need to have all corpses and characters involved out of the zone before the 1 hour timer starts. It's not easy to do in VP sometimes, but if it takes you 3 hours to CR/rez out/zone out whatever then it'll be 4 hours until you can zone back in.

I would also add that if guild LNS is called, any members of that guild/force logging in who were not involved in the engagement during the lockout period are still subjected to the guild LNS, and it starts the lockout timer over. Basically, if you lose get your entire guild the F out of the zone.

Or if you want to simplify this entire process just make it so when guild LNS is called you need to leave the zone until a raid mob is engaged and defeated, or if their is a wipe on the PVE target the zone opens back up immediately.

Shouldn't take you 3 hours, just using that as an example.

LNS should work more the way Nihilum does it. You grab corpses, log out...and don't return for a full week until the next PvP Saturday comes around.
