Nilly does have quite a few mature (and immature) players. The leadership are stern about keeping the forums and ooc clean (yes I've been told to stfu a few times!), whereas the opposition seems to be banking on running nihilum into the ground with non stop anti-nihilum sentiment and trolling (endorsed by their leadership).
Nizzar is a great leader who puts in great deal of effort to help make end game raiding as painless as possible and tries to ensure your time is not wasted during raiding hours.
I haven't played in azrael but have played with a couple of their members back in the day and they do have some cool people. (As well as people that seem to be cool on the surface but turn around and e-grief you in game and on the forums because you got your epic before they did - looking at Salem)
Overall from what I can see there is less tolerence in nihilum for immature behaviour. So if you want to play with a more mature crowd (with the exception of a few!!) then you should give Nihilum a try.
I know right now the opposition is starting to bleed numbers again and nihilum is starting to snowball, but I'm hoping a3rd guild may be feasible again for velious , to keep the guilds in equilibrium.
