See, I always thought root rot was root, DoT, DoT, nuke, sit, med. Because let's be honest, 17hp/t isn't going to do much. Takes about 5 min to kill using this method. I'd be FM constantly.

Also, Brain, thanks for the negative comment. I'm not looking for an easy way to play, just trying to see if I'm doing something wrong. I happen to enjoy my Mage more than my Druid and this shouldn't be, because I love the idea of a Druid and everything that Druid's can do.

Druid will not match the sheer killing speed of a mage though (without going OOM in 2 kills) so don't even try. be content knowing that your druid is extremely versatile and doesn't need a pet to survive any and all situations.

When can Druid's start root rotting, and then when do they transition over to quad kiting? I seem to remember it was at 34, with new spells, that quad kiting got a lot better?

Yeah then I run into the issue where root breaks and oh shit I'm out of mana, dead. Or can't get root off.

Doesn't it work less and less each time you keep casting it on one mob?

If you follow Tunare, do the Warden of Tunare quest for a mana free clicky root neck piece. Saved my arse many times on live :-)

Well I just tried Root rotting and my DoT's keep breaking root.
