Patcher unable to connect

Been playing for a while without issue, but suddenly today I am unable to connect. Figured it was just a temporary hickup at the start and have tried to connect several times throughout the day without any luck.

The small window comes up saying "Patching Everquest" and Connecting... After a while it times out and I get a dialogue saying "Could not establish connection. Check your network connection etc.

Anyone have any good tips on how to resolve this?

edit: seems the issue was with eqwindows. Just gonna grab my eqfix quick, then resolve that later [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
