New (Old) Player with a question
Hi everyone,
I played Everquest from 1999 when I was 14 until 2002 when I joined the Army at the age of 17. I have played WoW for the last 9 years or so but I have had a deep sense of nostalgia recently which lead me to discover Project 1999. I played on Brell Serilis and our server was amazing. I also dabbled on a few other servers. Nesin Treeheart - Woodelf Druid Angles Divinehope - High Elf Cleric (hey I was 14 and I wasn't a great speller [You must be logged in to view images. I plan on joining the server soon and recreating some of my old avatars.. spelling errors and all. My question is: I remember there being some sort of penalty if your agility or dexterity was below 75, but in all of the youtube videos I have watched recently no one has mentioned it. I remember dropping points to raise either one or both to 75 then dumping the rest of the points into strength when making a melee character. Can someone confirm or deny this? I remember it being semi-common knowledge at the time. Is it true, was it ever true?

Hi JJLive,
You remember correctly: if your AGI is below 75 then you suffer an AC penalty so keeping AGI above will avoid it. It's mentioned in this newbie guide on the wiki: http://wiki.project1999.com/Players:Newbie This game brings back so many good memories for me and I hope it'll do the same for you! Have fun [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] Benoen
