Just so you know, they tried to catch IB the same way, but our trackers aren't using SEQ and there was never an issue. We know because draco's pet was up but draco never was, then it was despawned when inquired about.

Also, if you're going to claim cheating, have some proof. I have yet to see anything proving IB cheats or even trains. Who was the guild that got warned for training last week? DA. Who trained us at Vox days after the warning? DA. Who used to crash zones this summer? DA. Who used to dupe god/dragon loot? DA. Who used to know spawn times before mobs would actually spawn? DA. Who KS'd inny from trans and charm stole island 1 sky mobs from guilds that were killing them to use an exploit vs spiroc Lord? DA. Who broke the old rules and zerg stole a CT that wasn't theres while they simultaneously trained the raid who actually had claim? DA

Abacab is exactly right, how many strikes can a guild accumulate before the GMs realize that nothing will change when the guild leader says stuff like 'if we get banned, we get banned.' It's pretty frustrating when you have to compete against that kind of mentality.

I'm not saying the players should be your motivation to do anything or that your own reasons shouldn't be paramount to put this much time and other personal resources into the project, but don't the player's matter at all to you? I hope you aren't totally honest when you say that they don't.

Well, think about it this way. EQlive got completely fucked by listening to its playerbase. We don't want this looking or feeling like wow, so opinions on how we should run shit are dismissed.

At the end of the day, Do we ban people? Do we make new content? Are you allowed to play it? Are there guides/GMs resolving issues? Do we fix our mistakes? Are bugs fixed? The server being up every day should be a testament of how we feel about the players.

DA wasn't banned because they contribute to the continued existence of P1999 through monetary donations. You cannot ban an entire guild and cut off a cash flow that has been coming in steady for several months.

I don't like to get involved in the inter-guild drama but this is simply not true. Rogean said that DA was first to engage but after the first player engaged he got DT'd, which made Inny disengage, going for the next player who had aggroed it, who was from another guild. It's a bizarre situation sure, but it was legitimate and could be thoroughly proven, and by no means a mere "technicality". Secondly, DA had no legitimate claim over that boss spawn because it was effectively proven that one of their members had cheated to figure out when it was going to spawn (this was right before several players were banned for being able to predict when bosses would spawn, so I can only assume that DA had mobilized all the way up there at the exact time Inny was spawning only because they had cheated. At least, this is what everyone at the time surmised and I don't think anyone is realistically denying it now). It was also acknowledged that it was just generally douchey for you guys to leapfrog the other guild (trans?), but I suppose that's neither here nor there if it's within the rules.

Makes no sense the way you took it...this wasn't a slam against you or the server, it was a slam at some the dirtbags that contaminate it.

Good players will NOT leave because scumbags are banned. I think you guys are too lenient...but that's just an opinion.
