yeah we all know PVP in EQ is so great, that's why it was at most like 1% of the player base that was pvp in EQ.
and we hear about it so much, considering how little of the player base it was. this leads me to believe that all the "tough" pvpers are really whiny lil bitches. suck it up you are playing on a pve server. if you are too good for pve, you are welcome to move along.

If they could just make it where blues and reds could play together that would go a long ways towards incentivizing pvp. But given that only a fraction of the playerbase wants pvp, this kind of thing probably won't get looked at til a year after Velious when everyone is quitting.

And no, I wouldn't want extended PvP on this server. I'm sure there are plenty of MQ'ers / cheaters around now, but at least their cheating doesn't effect me too directly at the moment. With PvP in the mix, that wouldn't be the case.

Heard this argument from so many people, even back on Live. I was especially fond of the ex-PvP types that reverted to calling everyone "blue" if they couldn't reach an agreement, because it showed them for the gutless morons they really were. I mean, you can't really invoke the bluebie argument if you're on a blue server yourself, can you?
