Something about the 10130 update killed EQ's sound completely for me. Can't seem to find anyone else with this issue (sound works on every other game/app). Maybe it wasn't the update but something I did around the same time. Not sure.

I cannot seem to make any changes with the OptionsEditor.exe despite trying many compatibility modes and all that jazz.

^That's what the settings are every time I open it after trying to make changes. These settings are correct in my eqclient.ini (like Sound=TRUE). I tried different audio devices. I'm driving myself crazy over this. EDIT: Tried WinEQ2 as well.

Same thing happened to me but in the newest build 10158. I even tried reinstalling dx9 June 2010 and that was no help. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
