Default Windowed Help Please

Playing in fullscreen causes crash issues tabbing, so windowed it is.

Problem is, accidental screen dragging. Any fix for this?

Thanks =)

I play window mode. I tried Full Screen and it seems to work but if I tab out, I crash too.

Alt + spacebar
select move
use arrow keys to move EQ's titlebar up and off screen (hold Ctrl for smaller movements)
Windowskey + D shows the desktop and "saves" EQ's window position

works for win7 at least

Yea the fix is....

1. Play in Compatibility mode - Windows XP sp3

2. Set affinity to 0. ctrl alt del - click show proccesses from all users - then right click set affinity 0 on eqgame.exe

3. Set your shortcut to start as administrator.

If you do those 3 you shouldn't have this problem. If it's still there, Disable Windows Aero theme.

Windows Aero and the way the game talks to multi-core processors in anything newer then XP is what causes this problem. This eliminates all of that.

Notice though, random crashes are normal. The game runs very different on different hardware. I have a PC that never crashes and my laptop crashes a lot using the same directory.

Thanks for all the input, surely there's a viable fix in here.
