Just started on Nost horde 2 days ago, only 12. Can anyone tell me how the lvl 60 AB and WSG scene is? Nost forums/reddit suggests that it is a shitshow, pug vs pug games never happen, and that it is usually 10v3 pre-made vs pug or something along those lines. I'm afraid to invest time to lvl to 60 if the bracket is as bad as people are saying. Someone give me some hope =P
Depends what rank you want to get. R13 or 14 you'll have to quit your job, divorce your partner, put your kids up for adoption and pvp about 16 hours a day. The russians and chinese have that shit on lock down.

They did something to their queue that tries to force pre-made against pre-made, lots of people don't like it. Usually the pre-mades just dodge each other.

Other than that lots of insta pops all day for WSG and AB. AV queues are a little longer.

Nothing like a WSG where you queue with randoms and get stomped in 10 minutes by top raid gear guys. Those ones where you choose not to respawn lol. How dare the admins not let them zerg the casuals?!!

@Oooruk and Justin2090

Thanks people! I'm now going to spec 31/5/15 (I cannot completely override my Prot inclinations). I'm avoiding the Fury talents because every Warrior and their dog all want to DPS and be near the top of damage meters.

I'm not interested (solely) in numbers, as I am effectiveness re: learning to play [Tank], learning in a group (I generally group, even in longer solo quests), and having a desire to 5 Player and small-scale PvP.

I'm very much in the learning stage, getting to know my abilities, and why and how certain abilities scale with gear e.g. OP cannot be blocked, dodged or parried and is dependent on Weapon Damage. At 16th level with lowbie quest and vendor gear, it's much of muchness, but with WW Axe at level 30 (and with 2/2 in Imp OP), I'm going to see massive performance increase.

A lot to learn, and all of it greatly enjoyable! Even "STVietnam" has its appeal!

Cool. Sounds like you are on the right path. The main reason for not going prot while leveling is being able to solo efficiently (there will be times when you have to solo). I totally recommend re specing prot at 60 if you wish to tank. Its what I did (leveled as arms)
