God is this thread irritating. Weak stuff. Fight to mobs, coth to mobs, or gtfo imo.

If the gm's don't want to do gm'ing anymore, I think the devs need to leash Velious dragons. Otherwise, this end game is going to devolve into train management as the sole strat of how you secure pixels. That is not in anyone's interest, because it is boring as fuck.

Was this because there was gm's doing their jobs? Cuz if so, apples and oranges. There is no gm'ing now. It is ffa. But I appreciate your memories. Maybe someday in the eq old folks home you can share in more detail.

Nah, there didn't need to be GM's involved. That's the whole point. The entitlement levels and scrubs have risen vastly to overwhelm the server to create this current environment. It was all within the hands of the players back then as it is now.

We just need 1 big mega-guild. No reason for there to be multiple raiding guilds on the same server. Just join, earn DKP, spend DKP. It's infinitely better than this arbitrary "competition" for raid mobs.
