First week of EQ, getting a late start!

TLDR (noob with no spelling or grammar needs guild)

I missed the EQ boat way back when because of EQOA, I was a Clanking badass diviner (main heals suck, stacks FTW) well I decided to try Everquest because MMO and here I am. Currently have a level 5 Cleric and a level 9 Necro on blue. are there any guilds who would be willing to show me the ropes?

I should mention that I have asked a few times in OOC but was promtly drowned out by people selling various trinkets, or discussing political views on middle eastern cultures I had one person ask me to join some guild but when I said yes nothing ever happened and I figured they decided not to.
